Starting yesterday I've stopped receiving emails on Thunderbird. I haven't changed any settings. I've tried restarting, restarting the router etc. without success. I'm very inexperienced with computers so would appreciate any help. Thank you.

Most of the time Thunderbird is very slow, taking minutes to log in, minutes to download tiny messages, but sometimes is quick. Sometimes Thunderbird complains the password is wrong, but after three retries it accepts the password. Only occasionally it is quick as I'd expect. This has been happening for several months. I had hopes Thunderbird would find and fix the issue without challenge, but as the issue continues I am now raising it formally.

I've recently installed Thunderbird 128. I want to setup auto-reply but I have not found where to enable it despite looking through Settings and Account Settings.

I have composed an auto-reply and saved it as a Template - however, I cannot find where it is saved.

Also, the Actions in Manage Message Filters does not list "Reply with Template".

Any idea how to resolve this, please?

Yesterday I updated to 128.4.3esr For one of my accounts TB has started requesting me a password, but it dosn't give me the possibility to save it. I've tried to edit the signon.rememberSignons parameter, but it was already set that was set to true. I've tiried to delete the file key3.db but it did'nt work I've deleted the account from the ones listed in the saved passwords, but it has'nt changed the box of password request, that i attach. What can I do? Thanks Claudio

Hi, Thunderbird keep creating copies of various sub folders and naming them sequentially. This is happening on different devices but to different accounts on different devices. For example, on my Dell laptop I now have 8 copies of the inbox for one of the accounts named inbox -1, inbox-2..through to inbox-9. These all seem to be complete duplicates all starting on 1/1/24 although with different end dates depending on when TB created the copy. On this same device, it has also created 7 copies of an inbox called PFC. again -1 through to -7 but, and this is where it gets weird, these sub folders, like the original, are all in Local Folders! I can delete these but they just keep coming back. Any suggestions? Thanks Chris

I will describe the problem step by step. There is a mail server. It has a web version of mail (SOGo). Created an account for the meeting room. Created a shared calendar and signed mail users with rights to create entries in this calendar. In mail clients connected calendars over the network with user credentials. When creating an event in the calendar, added participants. Participants receive an email with an invitation. Immediately, when the email arrives to the participant, there are buttons to accept, but as soon as the event is synchronised and added to the calendar, the buttons disappear. Why? An error occurs when clicking on the refresh button. Why? How to set up a shared calendar correctly? Is there any instruction?

I'm moving from iMac 12.7 to Mac-mini 15.1 and Thunderbird's old files cannot be imported. So, I deleted the failed Thunderbird app in the new Mac-mini and download a new Thunderbird to the Mac-mini. I made sure it's the desktop version with US English for Mac before hitting the download key. After downloading the Thunderbird 128.4.3esr.dmg and double-clicking the file and moving Thunderbird into the "Applications" directory. This last step seems to go on forever, that is, when I tried to eject the Thunderbird's download, it claim the download is NOT finished. What did I do wrong, and how to fix this problem?
